I was born and raised outside of Chicago to a family of artists and entrepreneurs. I’ve always loved making art and I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. My work is influenced by all the things I love: old-fashioned children’s books, vintage fabric, candy, antique dishes, flowers, gingham, metallic shoes, 50’s dresses, and summertime (to name just a few). I tend to recreate things I remember from my childhood or try to depict things that I wish would have been there. My little Italian grandma was a huge part of my life as a kid and I often find myself drawing things I think she would have liked or worn or used.

In 2001, I started my own greeting card company, Parlez-Vous. It started as a one-woman operation in a room off my kitchen and a toddler on my lap. Within one year, my clientele grew from three to over 300 retailers. When filling orders became to much, I began licensing my card collection to larger manufacturers. Now I spend time doing what I love most — illustrating!

I currently live and work from my home studio outside of Portland, Oregon, with my husband and two children. My designs can be found in hundreds of retailers across the U.S. and Canada as well as in books and in magazines. I have an extensive catalog of images ready for use on your next project or you can commission me to create something new. I look forward to discovering new partnerships and sharing my work with you!

Cheers,
